What to pack in your Hospital bag when it's baby time!

We know you'll be feeling a mix of emotions leading up to your due date and worrying about if you have everything you need with you, shouldn't be one.
Of course we'll go through some obvious items but also things that no one thinks to tell you that actually come in handy.
1. Car Seat or Baby Capsule
This is one of the most important as you may get asked by the Hospital/Birthing Unit how you are getting home. It's a good idea to have your Car Seat or Baby Capsule fitted in your car around the 37 week gestation period. We recommend to never pick up a Car Seat that has been left out for Council clear up. You never know if it's been in an accident previously and could be an older type that is no longer legal.
2. Pram or Stroller
If you don't have a car then taking a Pram or Stroller with you would be the next best thing.
3. TENS Machine
A TENS machine could be your new BFF. Designed for during labour and provides drug-free pain relief. Some even measure your contraction duration and time in between contractions which is very important information to tell your midwife.
4.
-A spare towel to sit on in the car for the ride to the Hospital/Birthing Unit and back or mattress protectors
-Thongs for a shower
- snacks
- super long charging cable
- Doula, can't fit this one in your hospital bag but needed to be on this list great to have someone with you who knows the system and be apart of your 'village'.
