First of all, congratulations! This exciting time of welcoming a newborn into your life is incomparable. You may have landed here knowing you have an inevitable task ahead preparing for your little one's arrival and are feeling frankly, overwhelmed. Buying all the nursery furniture, car seats and prams can soon mount up but have you thought about renting the baby equipment instead? When raising our kids, we've definitely had that thought of "Do I really need that?", "The baby will only get 6 months max out of this" or "Where am I going to store it?" scenarios and this is why renting baby equipment could be your solution without having to sacrifice on the brand you like or cost.

2. Limited usage: Babies grow quickly, and some items like capsules, bassinets and bouncers have an age limit up to 6 months old. This means you will have the hassle of trying to sell it and stressing that you won't get the same amount back that you paid for it.
3. Space-Saving: Renting allows you to have the necessary items you need without finding somewhere to store it for a couple of years incase you decide to have another child. Frankly, you don't need the clutter in your life.
4. Easy for Grandparents: Renting a car seat or an extra capsule base is a great idea for when Grandparents or your family need it for short period of time. Also, having a foldable wooden cot with a proper mattress is something we wouldn't compromise on for sleepovers. Unless your baby is used to sleeping in a portable cot, don't jeopardize those Zzzz's.
